Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account we store your email, display name, and the wineries you mark as visited or wishlisted, along with any tasting notes and photos you attach to visits. Location is used only while the app is open, to show nearby wineries; we do not track or store your location history.

How we use it

• To run your passport — visits, notes, photos, and levels are yours and private to your account.
• To show relevant events and winery news if you opt into notifications.
• Aggregate, anonymized counts (e.g., how many people visited a winery) may be shared with winery members.

What we never do

We do not sell personal data, show third-party ads, or share your identity, notes, or photos with wineries or anyone else. Winery members see aggregate numbers only.

Data storage & deletion

Data is stored with Google Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Storage) in the United States. Delete your account from Profile → Help & support, or email us, and your profile, passport, and photos are removed within 30 days.
